This weekend MindBody FX will be attending The Fraser Valley Women's Show in Chilliwack, BC as an exhibitor. It's going to be a great event and will start off Friday with a V.I.P. Wine & Cheese with Mayor Sharon Gaetz and Arlene Dickinson from CBC’s hit television show Dragon’s Den. For those of you who haven’t seen the show it’s on Wednesday evenings and is about a group of wealthy entrepreneurs who are presented with start up business ventures from new entrepreneurs looking for some of the Dragon’s investment money. If you haven't watched it you really should, it is quite entertaining (by the way it is a Canadian show).
Okay so back to what's going on at the Fraser Valley Women’s Show. Saturday will be the Firefighter Fashion Show followed by the Ultimate Idol Party – a Haiti Benefit with proceeds going to Unicef. Arlene Dickinson will be speaking for the Women in Business segment. Over the course of the weekend there will be many other great speakers including Farley Flex, Rick Gozdek, Glenda Standeven, Sue Clement, George Affleck, Bruce Lee and one of my favorites Dr. Rose Backman.
The weekend is really dedicated to women and is all about discovering the latest in health & wellness, personal growth, beauty and more! It is also dedicated to networking, education and resources for women in business.
